VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK
KV Bagafa has observed “Vigilance Awareness Week” from 25th Oct.,
2010 to 1st November, 2010. There is an increasing concern about corruption
eroding the basic values of life. It has not only a negative effect
in social dynamics but also erodes the value system established in
the country. It is important that the younger generation who has to
play a pivotal role in the development of the country needs to be
educated on the urgency to fight against such unethical practices.
The focus of observing Vigilance Awareness Period is “Generation of
Awareness and Publicity against Corruption”. The oath was taken by
the principal and all the staff members on this occasion.
CMP INITIATIVE
Common minimum programme aims at making the primary wing in the vidyalayas
self sufficient so that we leave no stone unturned in linking the
lives of school children to lives outside the four wall of the classroom.
The successful implementation of common minimum programme marks a
departure from the legacy of bookish learning which continues to shape
our system and cause a gap between school, home and community.
Teachers showed videos and films on movies of cultural and moral values
which helped them to imbibe good values and enabled them to know their
culture and heritage.
Class Magazines were prepared by students under the teacher’s supervision
comprising of stories, poems and drawings. Compilation of class magazine
helped in creative writing and enhancing imagination.
Worksheets distributed to the students were keenly done by the students.
Students were more interested in doing worksheets rather than in notebooks.
It improved writing and reading skills.
WORK SHOP ON THE USE OF AUDIO VISUAL
AID&SPOKEN ENGLISH
Work-shop on the use of audio visual aid and spoken English was organized
in the vidyalaya for the proper teaching learning process
I hope that the well knit Organizational structure enumerated by KVS,
the patronage of our chairman, VMC, and the able guidance of all well
wishers and full co-operation of parents and heartfelt support of
our future citizens & staff has been of paramount importance for
me to achieve the targets set by KVS.
With these words I sum up the Vidyalaya report with most famous lines
of Robert Frost-
“The woods are lovely dark & deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep”
Jai Hind.
